About
WeldArt combines welding skill with artistic ideas. Instead of only building industrial parts, it turns metal into sculptures, design objects, and standout signature pieces that inspire the next generation of welders.

Global Reach
The draft championship system works across 7 global regions: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia, and China.
The Jury of Giants
Our judges aren't just experts — they are the faces the industry follows. Seven regional seats, hand-picked creators, and a combined reach that puts every decision in front of millions.
Target Audience
The Ambassador Engine
We don't just have an audience — we have the architects of the craft. A global ambassador network of welders, creators, and industry voices carrying WeldArt across every region.
Creators, welders, educators, and industry voices representing the championship across every region.
Ambassadors are listed publicly here, included in championship communication, and become part of the WAWC network from day one.

Application Phase · Task 01
Your journey starts with the perfect shot. Create your individual WeldArt masterpiece in 2D using the official WAWC logo — then document the process and upload your application.
How it works
Online qualification starts with one submission per account. Every approved piece enters the official WAWC pathway from digital application to live championship rounds.
Submit one WIG-based WeldArt piece online with a process video and final photos.
Every entry is checked manually before it can appear in the public championship flow.
Artists and fans can vote during the community phase. The public vote runs for 4 weeks.
Top entries move into the championship rounds where fan voting and jury scoring decide the later stages.
Jury Evaluation Criteria
Every entry is scored across two equally-weighted columns: technical mastery in TIG welding and artistic interpretation. Ten points per criterion, eighty points in total.
Uniformity, ripple consistency, and purity of the TIG welds across the whole workpiece.
Purposeful use or prevention of oxidation colors as a deliberate stylistic element.
Dimensional accuracy and precision of the workpiece despite significant heat input.
Assessment of challenging fillet welds, restricted positions, or welding of ultra-thin materials.
How creatively and accurately was the theme (e.g., Automotive) executed in the final piece?
Uniqueness of the design and innovative strength compared to everything else in the field.
Proportionality and the overall aesthetic impact of the final object as a standalone work.
How harmoniously were the required components incorporated into the final artwork?
Timeline
The WAWC plan spans 2025 to 2027 — from online qualification through regional rounds to live finals.
Initial communication and jury rollout started around Urban Steel Rockstars in Frankfurt.
The first live knockout stage is planned for Fabtech Vegas 2026.
The championship continues live at Urban Steel Expo with quarter-finals, semi-finals, the 3rd-place match, and the final.
The public WAWC flow is not open-ended: call launch, 6-week submission window, 1-week review, 4-week voting, then ranking and progression into the championship stages.
The call for entries opens as part of the official WAWC communication phase defined in the broader 2025 to 2027 plan.
Artists can upload exactly one entry per account during the active submission window.
Every submission is checked manually before it can move into the public competition flow.
Approved entries enter an open public vote. Participants can vote as well, and the live ranking can stay visible so potential finalists can plan travel early.
The live vote gives participants an early signal. Final eligibility and finalist notification follow once voting has closed.
Top entries feed into the live WAWC path from the Round of 16 at Fabtech Vegas 2026 to the final stages at USE 2027.
Championship System
